A 17-year-old boy fell to his death from the 6th Street Bridge in Los Angeles.
The young man fell on one of the arches of the bridge. The latter wanted to film his stunt for broadcast on social networks, police said. “He slipped and fell to his death,” Los Angeles Police Chief Michael Moore said.

Authorities intervened early on the night of May 20 to help the teenager. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
His name has not been released and police will not release the name of the site he wanted to use to document his reckless behavior.
“Unfortunately, this bridge, the pride of Los Angeles, is now the scene of such tragedies,” said Michael Moore. We will set up more patrols in the area to prevent such behaviour.

The bridge, which cost approximately $588 million, will open to traffic in July 2022, replacing the old bridge that opened 84 years ago.
It has been shut down several times as it has been targeted by daredevils for street racing, graffiti or risky stunts that attract large crowds.
