Brandon Garrett of Halfway was on his way to a campsite in the US state of Oregon with his four dogs when his car got stuck in an 85-foot-deep ravine, British media reported.

Mr. As Garrett fought for his life, his dog, Blue, crawled out of the wreckage of the vehicle. He walked the remaining miles to where his family was.

Seeing the animal arrive without its owner, the family automatically worries about the human. Blue eventually took her near the crash site, where the group called the police.

The man had to spend the night in the valley before authorities came to rescue him. He was airlifted to hospital.

According to the local sheriff’s office, the accident “was caused by a failure to make a proper maneuver during a turn, which resulted in the vehicle crashing.”

Mr. Garrett is now out of danger. His three other dogs were also found alive near the scene.
