His puppy saves his life by eating his toe

A British man had a terrible scare when his puppy ate his toe, but the incident ultimately saved his life.

David Lindsay, 64, was asleep when he heard his wife screaming. That’s when he discovered his right big toe was a bloody lump. Harley, his seven-month-old bulldog puppy, bit him while he slept and broke his collarbone.

Despite everything, the little fur ball saved his life. In fact, through this incident, the diabetic man realized that he no longer had any feeling in his legs.

So, during X-rays, doctors discovered two blocked arteries in his legs, British media “The Independent” reported. The whole thing put his leg in jeopardy, which was at risk of amputation if the blood wasn’t diverted quickly.

Grateful that his pup saved his life, David Lindsay assured ‘The Independent’ he would love to keep Harley.

“You have to laugh at that. He did me a favor by eating my toe,” he said.

The latter is still waiting to know if he can save his member.

“I was going to try to keep my toe too, but I told the doctor to amputate it so I could take it home [mon chiot]”, he added.
