(Miami) The investigation into the murder of young traveler KP Petito, who has been in the US for weeks, entered a decisive phase on Wednesday. A Florida natural reserve.
“Investigators found human remains with a bag belonging to Brian Laundry and personal belongings such as a notebook” in an area that was “under water recently,” said Michael McPherson, the federal police’s special agent.

Forensic scientists will be there “probably for several days,” the head of the investigation said.
Earlier, the Tampa FBI announced the discovery of “investigation-related items” on the Carlton Reserve near Sarasota. Laundry family lawyer Steven Bertolino told him the property belonged to the young man.
