A video filmed at Disneyland in California has sparked the outrage of internet users due to the attitude of the mascot Minnie Mouse towards a little girl.
In the footage, filmed by the girl’s aunt, the child can be seen excited to meet the famous mouse who tries to hug her. This type of practice is common at Disney theme parks; Many visitors queue up, sometimes for more than an hour, to meet the characters, share a funny moment and hug.
However, the girl in the video found Minnie refusing to hug her. Instead, the symbol transforms the woman, effortlessly, into the other direction of the photograph. The child tries a second time to hug Minnie, but Minnie turns her away again.
The scene, viewed by more than 15 million people on TikTok, caused a huge reaction. Here are some of the comments received from the video:
