    The family of the late singer Isaac Hayes threatens to sue Donald TrumpTrump’s presidential campaign… claims the former president was using one of his hit songs without permission at campaign rallies.

    Lawyers for Isaac Hayes Enterprises have issued a legal warning, sending Trump and his campaign a copyright infringement notice over the use of Hayes’ song “Hold On, I’m Comin'” at Trump rallies.

    The singer’s family says the anthem was used at least 134 times at political events between 2022 and 2024 without permission. Trump played the song in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, last July … where he used the song to close his campaign rally.

    Hayes, who died in August 2008 at the age of 65 after suffering a stroke, wrote the song “Hold On, I’m Comin'” with David Porter For soul duo Sam and Dave in 1966.     Hayes’ son explains that the family wants Trump to stop using the song, remove any videos in which the song may appear, and issue a statement explaining that the estate never authorized its use… oh, and there’s also the $3 million licensing fee, which they say is actually a deduction!

    Family means business, too… with Isaac stating that they will take further legal action if Trump and his team do not comply.

    This isn’t the first time a music artist has publicly objected to Trump’s use of their music. In fact, Celine Dion also Issued a similar warning. Over the weekend… after Trump used the phrase “My Heart Will Go On” at his Montana rally.

    Countless other celebrities have tried to block Trump from using their music at rallies over the years, including the Rolling Stones, Adele, Rihanna, Steven Tylerand the legacy to Sinead O’Connor.
