Kate Middleton has apologized to the Irish Guards in an emotional letter for missing a big Trooping the Color rehearsal on Saturday morning.
“I wanted to write and tell you how proud I am of the entire regiment before reviewing the Colonel and the troops of the regiment [Color.] “I appreciate that all of the troops this year have trained for months and dedicated many hours to ensuring their uniforms and drills are clean.”

“It remains a great honor to be your Colonel, and I am very sorry that I was not able to receive the salute at this year’s Colonel’s Review,” the letter continued. “Please send my apologies to the entire regiment, but I hope to be able to represent you all again very soon.”
“Please send my best wishes and good luck to all involved.”
