The first image of Peter Claffey in the tall role of Ser Duncan in ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’
the next game of thrones The prequel series returns to the familiar set, and has released a first-look image.
Above is the first image of Peter Claffey in the long-serving role of Ser Duncan in the series. The picture arrives as Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Filming of its first season begins in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The move returns the franchise to the same production center as game of throneswhile the other previous series of the franchise, Dragon Housewas filmed outside London for its first two seasons.
In addition, the project added several new actors: Finn Bennett (True Detective(As Aerion Targaryen, Bertie Carville)Dr. Foster(As Baelor Targaryen, Tanzin Crawford)Beautiful little things(As Tansel, Danielle Ings)Gentlemen(As Ser Lionel Baratheon and Sam Spruill)Fargo) Like Maekar Targaryen.
And also Sarah Adena Smith (Chemistry lessons) joined the production to direct three of the season’s six episodes.
Director and executive producer Owen Harris was previously announced (Black mirror) will also direct three episodes.
The official description of the show: “A century before the events of… game of thrones, two unlikely heroes wander into Westeros… a naive but brave young knight, the tall Ser Duncan, and his young sidekick Egg (Dexter Saul Ansell). Set in an age where the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, the last dragon has yet to pass from living memory, and great destinies, powerful enemies, and dangerous feats all await these unlikely and incomparable friends.
The series comes from creators George R.R. Martin and Ira Parker.
