To save time and get an audience quickly, the Academy of Oscars presented both awards at the same time, with Ariana DeBose and Troye Couture taking the stage at the same time.

Favorite Kay Hui Kwan won the statuette for her performance in “Everything, Everywhere, All At Ones.” Recalling his journey as a refugee and achieving his “American Dream”, the actor wept with joy as he thanked his family.

And favorite Jamie Lee Curtis beat fellow favorite Angela Bassett for her portrayal of the “everything, everywhere, all at once” maddened revenue department employee.

The actress congratulated the entire crew of the sci-fi film before exclaiming in disbelief, “I just won an Oscar,” reminding her parents that they were named after them during their time.
