season 4 of Cobra Kai He finished with a couple of big descents, mainly Cobra Kai winning the All-Valley course and forcing Miyagi-Do out of business. Season 5 will begin with Terry Silver in complete control of Cobra Kai (after framing Chris) and expanding to more locations throughout the Valley.
The final scene of Season 4 shows Daniel reuniting with his former rival Chosen, in the hopes that together they can defeat Silver. After the debut of the fourth season, Cobra KaHayden Schlossberg, the content creator, spoke with ComicBook.com and explained what this surprise appearance for Season 5 could mean.

And Daniel gave him to Okinawa a chance to redeem himself in his own eyes. We always felt like he showed him some moves, but he will always feel that responsibility to help Daniel.”
“And so, the fact that at the end of season four, things are worse than they ever were,” he continued. “Cobra Kai is more famous than ever, with Terry Silver enjoying it all in all, and presumably Daniel has to shut down Miyagi Do. When you think about it from Daniel’s perspective, what does he have to come back from with this?”
