    A fiery video clip showed that a Russian military transport plane crashed today, Tuesday, with 15 people on board, after one of its engines caught fire after take-off, killing all those on board.

    The Il-76 plane, which was carrying a crew of eight and seven passengers, crashed in the Ivanovo region northeast of Moscow, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. It is not yet clear who the passengers were and where they were headed.

    The Ministry of Defense was quoted as saying: “At approximately one o’clock in the afternoon Moscow time, an IL-76 military transport plane crashed while taking off on a scheduled flight in the Ivanovo region.” State-run TASS news agency.

    The four-engined Il-76 is a heavy transport aircraft that has been in service since the 1970s with the Soviet and then Russian Air Forces.
