A man accused a Baltimore lecturer of sexually assaulting his wife in May.
A video of the scene went viral after an anonymous user posted it on Twitter on Friday.
The unidentified speaker is a gynecologist-obstetrician by profession.
In the video, a man can be seen climbing onto the platform, grabbing the shocked doctor by his shirt collar and pushing him.
“This r*****e sexually assaulted my wife,” the doctor was confused as the other pointed the finger at him, telling the crowd.
Baltimore police confirmed to WMAR that the physical attack on the doctor happened on May 20 at a conference.
The doctor was not charged with any crime.
“The victim stated that he did not want to press charges against the person who physically assaulted him and that he wanted to take the person away from the scene,” a police spokesman said.
