    Actress and comedian Nica King said in a recent stand-up show that she struggled to pay her rent and book other roles in the long hiatus between seasons of the HBO series. tranceWhere it is a regular series. The clip, which she posted on her social media accounts, was widely circulated and upset a number of viewers.

    However, King said in a statement that she is doing well and has several projects in the pipeline.

    First, the situation: In a recent appearance at Hollywood Improv, King pointed out the long gap between the series' seasons trance, which last aired in February 2022: “Season 3 is coming out — I don’t know.     King's comments on the comedy set also sparked a wave of media coverage. In a statement to Hollywood Reportershe says she wasn't entirely serious: “My reference is about trance During my stop tour it was a funny joke. Most people have seen me playing serious characters on screen, but my roots lie in comedy.

    “I already have a few film projects releasing this year that I am excited about. It is a blessing to make a career in both drama and comedy.

    As for tranceIt is scheduled to return to HBO in 2025. There is no information yet on when production on season 3 will begin.
