GIGABYTE has expanded its gaming display portfolio with the introduction of the new AORUS ELITE Series at Computex 2026. The lineup includes a mix of OLED and Mini LED gaming monitors designed for enthusiasts seeking high refresh rates, advanced HDR performance, and next-generation connectivity.

The new range spans both 27-inch and 32-inch models, utilizing 4th Generation Tandem OLED and Mini LED panel technologies. While GIGABYTE has not yet disclosed pricing or availability, the company highlighted several flagship features aimed at competitive gamers and content creators.

    New AORUS ELITE Monitor Lineup

The AORUS ELITE Series consists of four OLED models:

    • FO32U24GP
    • FO32U24G
    • FO27Q28G
    • FO27Q54G

In addition, GIGABYTE introduced the FM275K16P, a 27-inch Mini LED gaming monitor that the company describes as the world’s first 27-inch 5K glossy Mini LED gaming display.

FM275K16P Brings 5K Mini LED Technology to Gaming

The FM275K16P is built around a 5K resolution panel with a pixel density of 218 pixels per inch (PPI). The display incorporates 2,304 local dimming zones, a specification intended to improve contrast and HDR performance.

    Key Specifications

According to GIGABYTE, the monitor supports:

    • 5K resolution at 165Hz
    • Overclocked refresh rate up to 180Hz
    • 4K mode at 220Hz
    • QHD mode at 330Hz
    • 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage
    • Delta E accuracy below 2
    • DisplayHDR 1000 certification
    • 1ms Gray-to-Gray (GtG) response time
    • NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility
    • AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support
    • DisplayPort 2.1 with 80Gbps bandwidth
    • HDMI 2.1 with eARC

The combination of high resolution and high refresh rates positions the display for users who split their time between gaming, content creation, and professional workloads.

OLED Models Feature 4th Generation Tandem OLED Panels

The OLED lineup is based on 4th Generation WOLED panels that use Tandem OLED technology and a RealBlack Glossy surface treatment.

    FO32U24GP: Flagship 32-Inch 4K OLED

The FO32U24GP serves as one of the headline products in the new range. The 32-inch monitor offers:

    • 4K UHD resolution
    • 240Hz refresh rate
    • 0.03ms GtG response time
    • DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 with 80Gbps bandwidth
    • Dual Mode functionality

Dual Mode allows users to switch from 4K resolution at 240Hz to Full HD resolution at 480Hz, giving competitive players the option to prioritize frame rates in fast-paced titles.

    Additional OLED Models

The FO32U24G appears to share a similar 32-inch 4K OLED panel configuration.

Meanwhile, the FO27Q28G features a 27-inch QHD OLED display with a 280Hz refresh rate, targeting esports and high-performance gaming setups.

GIGABYTE also confirmed the FO27Q54G as part of the launch lineup, although detailed specifications were not included in the presentation materials.

    New AI-Powered Display Enhancements

Several models in the series incorporate AI-assisted image processing technologies.

    HyperNits HDR Enhancement

GIGABYTE’s new HyperNits technology adjusts the HDR Electro-Optical Transfer Function (EOTF) curve. The company says the feature can boost brightness by up to 30% during high Average Picture Level (APL) HDR scenes, potentially improving visibility in bright content.

AI Picture Mode and AI Super Resolution

Selected monitors will also support AI Picture Mode and AI Super Resolution.

AI Super Resolution is currently listed as exclusive to the FM275K16P and is designed to improve image clarity when displaying lower-resolution content.

    Expanded Tactical Gaming Features

The new monitors introduce additional gaming-focused tools aimed at competitive players.

    Tactical HUD

The Tactical HUD feature allows users to anchor selected screen areas and adjust HUD transparency within designated capture zones.

    Tactical Crosshair

Tactical Crosshair dynamically adjusts red and green contrast levels to maintain visibility against changing in-game backgrounds.

Other gaming features carried over from previous generations include:

    • Tactical Switch 2.0
    • Ultra Clear
    • Night Vision
    • Black Equalizer
    • Game Assist

    OLED Protection and Thermal Improvements

To address long-term OLED panel maintenance, GIGABYTE has equipped its OLED monitors with AI OLED CARE PRO.

    The feature suite includes:

    • Auto Lock
    • Adaptive Light
    • Automatic Pixel Clean
    • Eye Care Reminder

The company also highlighted an upgraded thermal design incorporating integrated heat pipes. In addition, selected OLED models will be covered by a burn-in warranty of up to four years.

    Conclusion

With the AORUS ELITE Series, GIGABYTE is expanding its presence in the premium gaming monitor market through a combination of high-refresh-rate OLED displays, advanced Mini LED technology, and next-generation connectivity. The introduction of the 32-inch 4K 240Hz OLED FO32U24GP and the 27-inch 5K Mini LED FM275K16P demonstrates the company’s focus on delivering both visual quality and gaming performance, although pricing and release details remain to be announced.
