Quincy Hall wins 400m final, Kristen Faulkner takes second gold
Quincy Hall made an epic comeback to win gold in the 400m, the U.S. artistic swimming team took silver, and Kristen Faulkner won more golds in cycling.
All eyes on her American Runner Noah Lyles.
After winning the 100m gold in a thrilling finish, Lyles is set to compete in the 200m final on Thursday. If Lyles can complete both sprints, he will become the first American to win gold in both the 100m and 200m at the same Olympics since Carl Lewis in 1984. It won’t be easy — fellow Americans Kenny Bednarik and Erion Knighton also advanced to the 200m final with faster times than Lyles.
Sydney McLaughlin-Leverone, the current world record holder in the 400m hurdles, is the favourite to win the race. gold He took the gold medal in the event on Thursday, as did Grant Holloway in the 110m hurdles.
