Nina Dobrev is on the mend after an apparent motorcycle accident.
the Vampire Diaries The 35-year-old star shared a photo of herself Posing with a black motorcycle on Instagram on Monday, followed by another photo of her in a hospital bed wearing a patient gown, a neck brace, and a knee brace. She commented on the post, saying: “How it started and how things are going.”
The actress did not provide any details about what happened, but she wrote in a follow-up post on her Instagram Stories: “I am fine but we will have a long road to recovery.”

During a joint appearance with pal Julianne Hough The Ellen DeGeneres Show In 2022, Hough told guest host Adam Devine“I’ve taken her to urgent care more times than I can count. She’s the most accident prone. But that’s because she takes so much risk.”
Dobrev nodded and said, “Yes.”
Devine then recalled the time Dobrev injured her arm during a break from filming the movie Outlaws: “She came on set and I said, ‘Are you okay?’ She’s like, ‘No, I have a tricky shoulder. It comes in and out of place sometimes.’”
“That’s true,” Dobrev replied. “It is. My shoulder just drops randomly sometimes.”
Hough also commented on Dobrev’s Instagram post, saying, “That’s my girl!” “Obviously you wouldn’t be joking if you weren’t feeling well,” she added.
Dobrev will next be seen on the big screen in Reunion, a thriller centered around former high school classmates who uncover a murder. The film, which will be released digitally on June 28, stars Lil Rel Howery, Billy Magnussen, Jillian Bell, Chace Crawford and Jamie Chung.
