Padma Lakshmi to graduate from ‘Top Chef’ after 17 years – Deadline

Bravo will need to set up a new set of top chef After Padma Lakshmi reveals that she is leaving.

Lakshmi, who is also producing the show, said that she is leaving the cooking show after 20 years^y season, which is known as Top Chef: World All Stars. The show, whose season finale ended on June 8, has been renewed for a 21st season.

After much soul-searching, I made the difficult decision to leave top chef. Having completed a glorious 20th season as host and executive producer, I am incredibly proud to have been a part of building such a successful show and the impact it has had in the world of television and food,” she wrote on social media.

“After 17 years, many of the cast and crew have become like family to me and I will miss working with them very much. Top Chef 20^y The season is set in London and features 16 of the greatest competitors from iterations of the format around the world.
