We agree that there is no angel or saint among the dozens of Republican National Committee (RNC) staffers fired after a purge at the top of the organization, including Donald Trump's daughter-in-law Laura Trump and Chris. Lacivita, director of his campaign team, is now co-chairman and chief operating officer, respectively. But it is not forbidden to think that wolves are now in charge of the sheepfold.
An example that goes beyond Laura Trump and Chris LaCivita: Christina Popp — a former reporter for conspiracy channel OAN who falsely claimed the 2020 election was rigged — has been hired as senior legal counsel for election integrity (and you're right). This lawyer has written a book titled Stealing Your Vote: The Inside Story of the 2020 Election and What It Means for 2024.
Michael Watley, who supported Donald Trump's “big lie” regarding the 2020 presidential election, is expected to get along well with Rona McDaniel's successor as RNC chair. One of the RNC's new chairmen's goals is to make sure “we use donors' money wisely.”
