“I can’t even explain how difficult the last two weeks have been.” Mindy Sue Clark Written in A Posted on Facebook on June 3. “From the moment my phone rang the night of the accident, to last night I got a message saying he had to go. I don’t want to focus on what’s bad or sad, even though I feel like someone has ripped my heart out and squeezed it. It’s right in front of me.”
Mindy went on to praise the community that rallied to support Levy, saying, “I want to focus on the many miracles that we all have to bear witness to in those 12 days.”
“The response that Levi’s story got was absolutely amazing,” she continued. “How many people have told us that our names are permanently in their social media search bars waiting for updates. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people surrounded our little friend, lifted him up in prayer, and threw their loving arms around Levi and his family.”
Noting that she will always be thankful for being his “Auntie Mindy,” Mindy concluded, “I love you, Bean! I’m going to miss you like a crazy friend!”
