It’s been almost a year since The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom arrived and there’s a new rumor that Nintendo may have something in the works.

The Nintendo Everything website says it has been notified about the “official release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom soundtrack” in Japan which will coincide with the game’s one-year anniversary in May 12, 2024.

Here’s exactly what the source said:

“Based on the leaked information, the album will be available in Japan at the end of July. Fans will be able to get it as a standard edition or limited edition. [Nippon] Columbia will publish.”

Nintendo and Nippon Columbia released a similar audio announcement to mark the one-year anniversary of Breath of the Wild.

When Tears of the Kingdom debuted on Switch last year, we here at Nintendo Life called it a triumphant sequel to one of the best video games of all time, and gave it a great score.
