Seer isn’t close to topping the Apex Legends pick price list, but that didn’t stop Respawn from pulling off a series of counter-extinctions in the Dressed to Kill event.

Dressed to Kill, the first event in Season 17 of Apex Legends, reintroduces the Armed & Dangerous LTM and adds 24 cosmetic sets. The two-week event also adds Horizon legacy and makes balancing changes.

Not every Legend was affected in the initial Season 17 update, as Catalyst, Mirage, and Ash all received slight buffs. A few tweaks to the class highlighted a fairly subdued balance sheet, with no legend appearing worse due to wear.

The same can’t be said for the Dressed to Kill update, where the bot found itself on the wrong end of a noteworthy cut.

All three Wizard abilities engage in the Dressed to Kill event

The Apex Legends Season 17 pick price list shows that Seer boasts a paltry pick rate of 2.2%. This ranks 17th among 24 legends. Seer doesn’t jump off the page like a must-have hero, but a Nerf for every ability Meaning we probably won’t see him jump up that list anytime soon.

Seer users really shine when they are able to reveal enemies to their teammates. This skill took a huge hit in the latest update. The Heart Seeker app allows Legend to hear and visualize the heartbeat of nearby enemies when aiming. Passive ability saw a 15m drop in the range from 75 to 60.

Focus Attention is a blast that weakens and reveals the locations of enemies through walls. This ability also saw its range reduced from 75 to 60 metres, and scan time reduced to 2.5 seconds instead of eight.

As for Seer’s ultimate ability, Legend can only throw 15m instead of 50m, and its effectiveness in detecting enemies has been reduced.

Seer saw his biggest power level drop, on top of that, Respawn also removed the Legend Cure and revived the Revocation.
