A former Konami employee was arrested this week for allegedly trying to kill his boss by hitting him in the head with a fire extinguisher in the office. He lives mentioned.

We tested hot sauces in the Super Mario Bros. movie.

According to an article from a Japanese news website He liveswhich was translated by SiliconeraThe suspect is a 41-year-old man who worked on the same team as his 48-year-old boss. (The names of the individuals have not yet been released.) The two had an affair with a subordinate boss, though the subordinate said he was bullied for power by his boss, which led him to try to kill his boss. Force harassment, as the name implies, is A form of bullying in the workplace Where a person in a dominant position of power uses his influence and prestige to illuminate, harass, and manipulate lower-ranking employees. This apparently led to the suspect grabbing a fire extinguisher and striking his boss in the head from behind when the two were in the office.

It is unclear how this interaction occurred. However, it was reported that the suspect was pinned down by co-workers in the office after the altercation and arrested on the spot. The suspect was questioned by the police, and the reason was explained.

“I was being harassed, and I beat him with intent to kill him,” the suspect allegedly told the Metropolitan Police Department, reportedly. He lives. He is said to be charged with attempted murder because of the situation.

The suspect also told investigators that he had gone to the company’s human resources department to denounce the harassment of the authority he was subjected to. However, Konami allegedly told the former employee that no such harassment was occurring at the time. Then the issue was apparently resolved in August 2020, as the suspect was simply transferred to another team.

Meanwhile, his boss has survived the assault, though he will be in the hospital for about a week to be treated for some sort of head injury.

Kotaku Konami has reached out for comment.
