    Final Fantasy XVI PS5 PlayStation

Longtime Final Fantasy fans, and gamers in general, know that the series brings the heat when it comes to state-of-the-art visual fidelity, especially on new hardware. We’ve all marveled at Final Fantasy VII’s PS1 FMVs and An open gap in the metal AF opening scene in Final Fantasy X on PS2. Normally, we’d do our best to forget that the entire Fabula Nova Crystallis spin-off on PS3 ever happened (but… Even those games were beautiful), and XV was a showcase title for the PS4 and still looks decent today.

Final Fantasy XVI will continue this tradition, managing to step things up even more, even since they first announced the game. Check out the quality displayed in the comparison photos below, helpfully compiled by Legionz game On Twitter:

Just look at how much better Final Fantasy XVI has looked since its first teaser years ago! Crazy to see how far they come this looks amazing!

It’s an impressive glow, and it’s probably safe to say Final Fantasy XVI will blow our minds when it launches on June 22nd, regardless of whether you’re newer to the series or a lifelong veteran. How do you feel about that now that we’re getting closer to launch? Let us know in the comments section below.
