Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra receive 3C certification before Unpacked

Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra receive 3C certification before Unpacked

What may be one of the busiest Galaxy Unpacked events in a long time is scheduled to take place in Paris in about three weeks. Samsung will unveil two new foldable devices, two wireless earbuds, two smart watches, and its first-generation smart ring at the event, and some products may go up for pre-booking on June 26.

For smartwatch lovers, Samsung is adding the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra to its fun collection of Wear OS watches. It appears that the company is close to obtaining all the certifications it needs to start selling the new devices.

Galaxy Watch 7 3C certification conflicts with information obtained from FCC certification.

This week, it was Samsung Awarded China Compulsory Certification (3C) in China. As always, 3C lists some shipping information for upcoming devices, and this information contradicts what the FCC reported.

The FCC listed the Galaxy Watch 7 with 15W charging support, while 3C tests were conducted using a 10W charger. This doesn’t mean the FCC was wrong. Rather, it suggests that the 15W charger could be an optional purchase and that the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra will come with the old 10W charger in the box.

We’ll have to wait for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra to officially debut to find out what charger, if any, is in the box. In the meantime, watch the video below to learn about some of the best features of the Samsung ecosystem.
