MKBHD has launched its annual fun smartphone camera quiz for the blind last week With a new accurate rating system, dedicated website, and more. After more than 20 million votes, the results are in, and the iPhone 14 Pro has never been so hot. Here’s how it all shook…

MKBHD really upgraded it 2022 Smartphone Camera Test for the Blind this year. Having previously used Twitter polls and a man-made arc, this time he developed a HelloA modeled energy rating system hosted on a custom site.

More than 600,000 people have voted on the images over 20 million times to get a massive amount of data to drive results. Before voting, people chose whether they wanted to compare standard, low-light or portrait shots from 16 different smartphones.

The best smartphone camera of 2022

The iPhone 14 Pro came in the middle of the pack at seventh place in the overall score. The Pixel 6A took the top spot, the Pixel 7 Pro came in second, and the Asus Zenfone 9 came in third.

Other devices that beat the iPhone 14 Pro include Oppo Find X5 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, and Realme 10 Pro+.
