    Summer is usually a quieter time for new releases as we wait for the rush of the holiday season (Nintendo’s October and November have already been taken care of), but that means for now, we can really focus on quality over quantity.

    We’ve been busy compiling our usual collection of games that will be heading to retail in the coming weeks, including a few highlights we’ve picked as well as plenty of other games and accessories launching soon. Pikmin 4 is definitely the best this month, but take a browse and see if anything catches your eye:

    well, yes, Technically speaking This version wasn’t released in July or August, but considering it only launched today, we felt it was still worth getting a quick reference. Everyone is 1-2-Switch! is the sequel to the 1-2-Switch we never expected, bringing a second helping of the party frenzy to the current Nintendo system. The good news here is that for a first-party Nintendo version, it’s pretty cheap! You can get a copy below:

    Nintendo’s next major release is coming our way on July 21st – yeah, Pikmin 4 is finally a real thing that really happens!

    Fans of the series will know what to expect here – you’ll grow, pluck, toss and manage your little Pikmin friends as you travel through a whole new world solving puzzles and exploring. But this time, you’re also joined by Oatchi, the space dog who can smash through obstacles, transport heavy objects, and carry Pikmin on his back. Pikmin + cute doggo? Yes please.

    Now here’s an interesting adventure – an all-new Mickey & Friends adventure coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch on July 28th.

    Disney Illusion Island puts you in the shoes of Mickey and friends as they set out on a mission to explore the mysterious Moon Island and retrieve three mystical books to save the world from disaster. You’ll unlock special abilities, solve puzzles, master platforming sections and take on boss fights as you discover rich biomes, intriguing characters, and hidden secrets. Oh, and you can play alone or with friends in four-player co-op!

    Disney Island of Illusion

    Dead Cells is being processed for another physical release in August, all thanks to its Return to Castlevania expansion. This new physical version includes the base game, the new Return to Castlevania DLC, plus the four big DLC ​​packs that preceded it: Rise of the Giant, The Bad Seed, Fatal Falls, and The Queen and the Sea. And what about the good news? All of this is on cartridge with no additional downloads.
